'Housewives' Star Longoria Hurt on Set

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) "Desperate Housewives" adulteress Eva Longoria has been
felled on the set of her hit TV show, but lives to cheat again.
The diminutive star was injured on Wednesday, Aug. 17 when a falling pole beaned her,
reports Reuters. The offending pole in question was part of construction material on the set,
which makes us wonder who will be reprimanded for creating the hazardous conditions.
Despite being treated at a local hospital for a bump on her head, the trouper will be back on
set since "She's got a hard head," observes spokesperson Liza Anderson.
According to an ABC spokeswoman, Longoria was shooting a jail scene while the cast was
on location at Pasadena City College. It's unclear whether there's actually a prison-type
environment on the campus (is it like Disney jail?) or if other, non jail-cell scenes were shot there.
Longoria plays the scheming Gabrielle Solis, who is cheating on her husband with her boy
toy gardener, on "Housewives," which earned 15 Emmy nominations, including best comedy.
Longoria, however, was not among them.
